Old Mc Donalds Farm & Feed Store is a family run business based in Carlow Town and started when our poultry keeping hobby began to consume all our time.
That changed a little as we noticed there were so few places to get all the essentials, no matter how close to an agricultural merchants you are or how surrounded by poultry units!
We set ourselves the task of offering all the essentials and as the list of products grew so did the business and we now hope that we offer everything neccessary for keeping poultry whether it be a couple of pet backyard birds, hundreds of free rangers or a breeding program like ours.
Indeed it is the work we put in with the commercial sector which is resulting in the biggest breakthroughs and we’ve been amazed & exited by how many natural products are used there which we are bringing down to a smallholder & backyard level and we’re constantly working with companies to bring in new products which will dramatically improve breeding success
We are widely travelled and 2010 has seen us attending many more shows and we are happy to accept pre orders to take to shows and save you the shipping cost and possible dissapointment of us not bringing items with us!
